Diners scored each dish between 1 and 10—chefs with the highest scores earned the title of Top Chef in each category. Though given a scoring range, some guests couldn’t help themselves and gave extra credit or wrote in comments and bonus scores. One dessert earned a “100-OMG,” while another was simply rated “wiggly”—it was, and it won!
Many attendees also participated in a silent auction that ran throughout the evening, where bids were placed on a variety of items donated by local and regional businesses. A portion of the event’s proceeds went to Second Harvest Food Bank, the region’s largest hunger-relief charity.
