With our hills and trees, here in Knoxville we have to either get near the water or above the trees to experience the full beauty of the sun on the horizon. The Cove at Concord Park

Out on the point looking back toward the marina and watching the sun rise over the masts is a great place to take your morning coffee.
Sharp’s Ridge Memorial Park

The morning is wide open here, with views of the North Knoxville, downtown, and the sun coming up over the mountains. Bring a thermos and a friend.

Riverside Landing
