Brooke Nix Medical Aesthetics

Experience that Leads to Exceptional Outcomes

Ask someone to define “aesthetics” and they’ll probably tell you that it has to do with an appreciation of art; and they’d be partially correct. It’s actually an appreciation of beauty, and not just in art, but in all things. Importantly, it’s also an appreciation for the beauty of the human body and no one knows this better than Brooke Nix, founder of Brooke Nix Medical Aesthetics, with locations in both Maryville and Knoxville.

Why is that appreciation so important? “When you look good, you feel good. I enjoy making people feel confident in their own skin and to assist them in aging gracefully,“ Brooke says. “Our products, treatment, and most importantly expertise can restore what was once there, creating the opportunity for our patients to regain what they inevitably lose to aging.”

While there is certainly both an art and a science to the treatments that Brooke’s team provides, she cannot overemphasize the importance of knowledge and training. Advancements in medical aesthetics technologies, treatments, and products are taking place at a staggering pace, and staying abreast of these advancements is critical to providing patients with the most desirable outcomes.

“When it comes to aesthetics,” says Brooke, “experience is paramount for exceptional outcomes. Our team of qualified professionals has over 55 years of combined experience, and we continue to enhance our skills with ongoing training and education. In this way, we’re always up to speed on the latest techniques, trends, and technology…as we pride ourselves on safety and efficacy.”

Brooke has built a team that is passionate, knowledgeable, and willing to grow with her. Her colleagues possess a wealth of knowledge and experience across Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Craniofacial Surgery, and Medical Aesthetics. “Our experience encompasses the entire aesthetic component, as we look at the entire anatomy of the face or body in order to customize treatment plans for each patient,” she says. “This allows our practice to consult for full face and body rejuvenation for areas of concern yielding exceptional outcomes.”

After graduating from Maryville College, Brooke went on to earn her BS and MA from the University of Nebraska. She then interned at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, where she completed her Physician Assistant program. Her range of experience includes specialization in Aesthetics, Dermatology, and Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery. Board certified, she is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Med Spa Association and serves as a medical advisory board member for Allergan Medical Institute.

Even with two decades of experience—16 of which she has spent training other providers nationwide for Allergan Medical Institute—Brooke remains committed to learning and passing that learning onto others. Recently, as one of 40 injectors chosen nationwide, she traveled to Allergan Medical Institute to learn new developments in the application of tear trough filler, a procedure that addresses bags under the eyes.

“I’m able to return home to educate my colleagues on the newest treatments and developments that others may not receive,” she says. “Our providers can then give extensive complimentary consultations that will best enhance patient outcomes. And for us, that exceptional outcome is what it’s all about.”
