who move Knoxville forward.
A city that stands still soon becomes the city that’s been left in the dust as the country
moves on without it. But the spirit that seizes opportunities—or just makes them—that
takes on risks with confidence, plans, and creates—that’s the entrepreneurial spirit.
This year, we’re celebrating some of the people whose businesses make Knoxville so com-
pelling. They’re the same people who have a vision for what this city can and should be.
