Instead of taking the time to pass
resolutions condemning Sex Week

tives should spend that time consid-
ering how best to protect the needs
of the citizens of this state.
our system of government was
designed for a well-educated and
politically active population. The
level of apathy in the common per-
son today is so profound that even
when they learn of what is about to
happen, they can’t find time to call or
write their representative to object,
much less get out and campaign to
vote the career politicians out of of-
fice. unless we take action, the situ-
ation in our city, state, and country
will go from bad to worse.
but you can make a difference—if
you take a stand.
