Oxendine

Maryville native Tyler ox-

endine began his love affair

with photography at the age

of 14. He began with videotap-

ing himself and his friends

while skateboarding, then

switched to photography after

his girlfriend Laura Lynn gave

him a digital camera as a gift.

oxendine moved to Knoxville

after high school and gradu-

ated from Pellissippi State

Community College in 2011

with a degree in Photography.

He and Laura Lynn married in

August 2011, and he launched

his business, Tyler oxendine

Photography, the next year.

In addition to shooting for

Cityview, oxendine does sports

photography for the university

of Tennessee and both product

and portrait photography.

He and his wife live in a little

house off Western Avenue

with their german Shepherd-

Husky mix, Lola, and travel as

often as they possibly can.
