Guests at the inaugural City of Hope Gala gathered under the glittering lights of the Foundry on the evening of May 7 to enjoy dinner and hear testimonials of those
whose lives have changed through The Salvation Army. University of Tennessee’s men’s football and basketball play-by-play voice Bob Kesling [See “The Man Behind
the Microphone” on page 54] emceed the event, and former UT football player and inspirational speaker Inky Johnson delivered the keynote address. Funds raised through the gala help sustain The Salvation Army’s local programs and services. —C.C.
