Knoxville’s aesthetic landscape has evolved quickly in recent years. Into that momentum steps a new, fully integrated destination for plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, and wellness—led by Dr. David Lo and a team committed to innovation, safety, and total patient care .
Dr. Lo began practicing in Knoxville in 2018, arriving directly from training in Atlanta. What began as a traditional surgical path gradually transformed into a broader vision. “I wanted to build something integrated,” he explains—an environment where plastic surgery, advanced esthetics, and wellness services are not fragmented, but unified around the patient experience.
That philosophy now defines the new center, located in Bearden on Deane Hill Drive.

Unlike many practices that separate surgery, injectables, and wellness into disconnected silos, this facility brings them together under physician oversight. The result is a high-end, medically grounded experience designed to optimize outcomes before, during, and after treatment.
Dr. Lo’s surgical focus remains breast and body procedures—areas in which he has concentrated since beginning practice. But his long-term vision includes expanding into a collaborative group model, adding specialists in facial aesthetics and additional surgical disciplines. “You don’t want someone who claims to do everything,” he says. “To be excellent, you have to focus.”
Downstairs, plans are already underway for a future in-house surgery center—an expansion that will further elevate the level of care available on site.
The med spa division is led by Nurse Practitioner Caity Savage, who has worked alongside Dr. Lo for nearly five years. Savage specializes in neurotoxins—including Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify—as well as dermal fillers and cellulite treatments. Her background includes emergency nursing and a personal journey through dermatologic care that ultimately shaped her passion for aesthetics.
“I struggled with my skin growing up,” Savage shares. “I’ve done every acne treatment there is. I know firsthand what it means to help someone feel confident.”
For laser and advanced skin treatments, aesthetician Kari Irvine brings nearly a decade of medical esthetics experience. Certified through the National Laser Institute, Irvine specializes in customizable CO2 resurfacing with the Cartessa Helix system, Morpheus8 microneedling with radiofrequency, IPL for pigmentation, and vascular laser treatments.
“Lasers are my first love,” Irvine says. “But what sets us apart is safety. There are a lot of med spas in Knoxville. Having a physician in the building changes everything.”
That emphasis on safety is central to the practice’s identity. In an industry sometimes described as the “Wild West,” Dr. Lo is unequivocal: oversight matters. Every service operates within a physician-owned structure, ensuring compliance, medical integrity, and immediate support if needed.
The third element of the center is its integrated wellness component, offering IV therapy, weight-loss programs including GLP-1 medications, peptide protocols, and contrast therapies. The collaboration allows patients to hydrate before a Morpheus treatment for improved outcomes, optimize nutrition before surgery, or enhance recovery postoperatively—all within one cohesive system.
Ultimately, the mantra is simple: innovation rooted in sound medicine.
“We want people to come in sooner,” Dr. Lo says. “The earlier we see you, the better we can optimize everything.”
For Knoxville patients seeking surgical expertise, advanced esthetics, and wellness-driven longevity under one roof, this new center represents more than a med spa. It is a thoughtfully built ecosystem—where beauty, health, and safety converge.
