Reba McEntire returns to the Thompson-Boling Arena on January 29 at 8 p.m. after postponing her tour last spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But to the delight of East Tennessee fans, McEntire announced back in October that she would be back on the road with new music in tow coupled with classic Reba hits.
McEntire had a busy year in 2021. After postponing her tour, she released her first new music for fans in two years and a few months later released her box set Revived, Remixed, Revisited, a collection of some of her most iconic songs, reimagined with new arrangements. (The set features a duet with Sevier County’s own Dolly Parton on the song “Does He Love You?”)
After a long residency in Las Vegas with Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, the trio announced the end of their Vegas show; their final performances happened mid-December.
So she is back on the road and ready to bring country music to the masses. Be sure to get your tickets early, and enjoy getting to see McEntire in her element on stage at Thompson-Boling.
Head to www.tbarena.com for ticket information for her Knoxville return, and be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
