The sun is finally shining outside after weeks of rain and the people of Knoxville are looking for fun summer events. There are a wide range of activities to do whether it be movies in the park or a true crime mystery dinner show. The city of Knoxville offers enjoyable events for every interest and hobby, suiting every need.

Knoxville continues to grow as a city and expand the wide range of businesses and events that are located in the heart of downtown. It allows not just East Tennessee natives, but also those who are new to the area, to explore and learn what it has to offer. The creative scene continues to expand every summer where activities become more than just that, now being considered traditions. It can unite foodies, music lovers, adventure seekers, and more. The events you will soon learn more about target all ages, from toddlers to the elderly.

Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting some exciting events this summer. Every week there will be a new focus on events ranging from live music to cooking classes. We will be exploring the new flavors and beats of Knoxville with information going beyond what is offered. It will look into why these events make the city what it is today and how important they are for building community. They are ways to unite those living in the area as well as those who are simply visiting for a short period of time. The numerous events extend outside of the downtown area to work for those who want a change in scenery or find they need something to where they live in East Tennessee.

To kick off this exciting series, here are some upcoming events to keep an eye out for when trying to find something fun to do this summer:
