We are blessed in East Tennessee to have an incredible amount of galleries to visit, opening our eyes to art forms of all kinds from local artists, many of which you’ve seen in our pages, to national artists whose names are recognized far and wide. UT Downtown Gallery – 1106 Gay Street
Visit during January and February to see new work by Ambrose Rhapsody Murray.
KnoxWalls – 609 N Central Street
A great option to appreciate large-scale art in the elements. Grab a cup of coffee or hot cocoa, and enter through Lilienthal Gallery or at 609 N. Central Street.
Pivot Point Gallery – 15 Emory Place
A constantly changing exhibition, the gallery features more than 30 artists from a variety of mediums in one space. A must-visit for quiet and contemplation.
Knoxville Museum of Art – 1050 World’s Fair Park
Explore the State of Becoming exhibit in January, along with KMA’s usual exhibit variety.
Art Market Gallery – 422 South Gay Street
Take in art from more than 50 local artists who utilize mediums of all kinds in this showcase-style cooperative marketplace.
Lilienthal Gallery – 23 Emory Place
The gallery will celebrate the grand opening of their Nouveau exhibition, featuring hyper-
contemporary art. The exhibit kicks off on January 3 and ends in March.
