Advertising and Sales experience is required.  Our magazine has been in production for 26 years and is an attractive product to sell. Candidates must exhibit a high level of professionalism, professional appearance, organizational skills, and have an outgoing personality. Ability to develop new business is a must.

Photographer

We are looking for photographers that can shoot food, people, interiors, exteriors, all in a compelling way. Journalism Internship:

Cityview Magazine seeks outstanding writers for an unpaid editorial internships.  Candidates must be available part-time (20 hours per week) for a minimum of three months, from September through December, January through May, or May through August. We are looking for smart, enthusiastic interns for the fall semester. An ideal candidate will be extremely organized, pay close attention to detail, and have a love for all things Knoxville. Regular
responsibilities include researching products in the area, transcribing interviews, researching story ideas, writing, and setting up meetings. Qualifications: Applicants must have writing and editing experience, either through former jobs or internships or university courses.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, acute attention to detail and the ability to work independently are required. Marketing / Public Relations Internship:

The Marketing/Public Relations interns will assist the Sales & Marketing Department in daily activities.  Qualifications: Candidates must be willing to work 12-15 hours per week. This internship will provide valuable, real-world experience, that encourages “out of the box” thinking.  This internship is unpaid, however intern names will be published on the masthead of issues you participated with so that you will be able to add to your portfolio. Cityview is seeking advertising sales interns.  Experience helpful but not required. Although initial semester is unpaid, interns who meet quota and wish to extend their internship may have the opportunity to convert to a part-time paid status.
