Beginning at 6:30, The Knoxville Museum of Art’s Alive After 5 event will celebrate one of the great classic blues singers, Ida Cox. The museum has rounded up top-notch local female vocalists to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ida Cox’s passing. General admission is $15 or $10 for members and students. knoxart.org
