Nov. 20, Dec. 4| Drive-In at the Midway

The Drive-In at the Midway series at Chilhowee Park will present holiday films on Fridays, Nov. 20 and Dec. 4. Admission is free, but space is limited and participants must register in advance to reserve a space. Go to www.knoxlib.org for movie info and tickets.

Nov. 21-22, 27-28 | Holiday Shopping Festival

Shop from local venders, food trucks and coffee stands at the Holiday Shopping Festival at The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm. Guests will be limited to 75 at a time, including at a Nov. 20 Preview Party. Tickets to the festival itself are $5 each at eventbrite.com. Half of all ticket sales and booth fees benefit East TN Children’s Hospital. 

Nov. 27-Dec. 20 | Christmas in the Cave

Historic Cherokee Caverns hosts its annual holiday event Fridays through Sundays from Nov. 27 to Dec. 20. Stroll along the path through the cave and enjoy Christmas lights, scenes and other decorations. Then sip some hot cocoa around the bonfire. Info: cherokeecaverns.org.

Dec. 4 | Fantasy of Lights Parade

The Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade rolls through Gatlinburg on Dec. 4 featuring floats decorated with one-of-a-kind displays of LED lights, marching bands, large balloons, dancers, and holiday characters.

The Holidays on Ice skating rink relocates to the Civic Coliseum this year. The larger rink will be open Fridays through  Sundays. For more info, call 865-215-4423. 

Dec. 12 | Tour de Lights Bike Tour

Christmas fair on a city streets in Europe

Enjoy a fun, free, family bike ride through downtown and North Knoxville. Participants are encouraged to decorate themselves and their bikes while enjoying the holiday decorations they ride by. It starts at 5:30 on Market Square. Info: bwknox.org.
