To kick off the summer season in Knoxville, “Bike Boat Brew & Bark” offers fun for the whole family. On Saturday June 1, head to Volunteer Landing with your furry friends for the Visit Knoxville Powerboat Nationals and Riverwalk Tour with Historian Jack Neely. For cyclists, hop on the Guided Brewery Slow Ride, which will lead you from Volunteer Landing to some of the best local breweries Knoxville has to offer. Or if you’re looking to take the scenic route, the Guided Urban Bike Ride to Suttree’s Landing is the perfect ride. Participants can bring their own bike or experience Pace, the new bike share program. Users can download a free app to locate the nearest Pace bike, and they will also be available for rental at Volunteer Landing. In addition, there will be a Guided Urban Hike with Alan Sims, Photo Contest by Young-Williams Animal Center, TVA Expo, and more. What better way to spend a summer day with family and friends on Knoxville’s waterfront! For more information and event details, go to visitknoxville.com.
