It’s time to dust off the checkered overalls and belt out your best rendition of “Rocky Top.” It’s officially Football Time in Tennessee!
Heading into year two under Jeremy Pruitt, Vols fans can hope for improvement. At SEC Media Day 2019, Coach Pruitt said it has been a lot smoother the second time around and very positive. “I believe in Jarrett,” he says of junior quarterback Jarrett Guarantano. “He understands our expectations, and he’s been a tremendous leader.” Wes Rucker at 247Sports also predicts a big season for wide receivers Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, and Josh Palmer.
While the predictions continue to roll in, fans can look forward to eight home games at Neyland Stadium, as well as a new menu item—beer. The Vols will face Georgia State at home on August 31st at 3:30 PM EST to kick off the season. To keep up with all things Tennessee Football, visit utsports.com.
