There’s nothing like bringing a smile to a child’s face, and Knoxville’s Toys for Tots has been doing that every year for decades. Last year, the program distributed more than 45,000 toys across East Tennessee, supporting thousands of local kids in need. Now as we enter the season of giving once again, they’re looking to make that message of hope ring even louder.
This is a special year for Knoxville’s Toys for Tots. If they reach their milestones for this year, they are on the verge of becoming a large campaign, meaning that more than 5,000 underprivileged children are benefitting from the program. If you’re looking for a way to give back and help Toys for Tots reach those milestones, you can come celebrate with us at Cityview, as we partner with D1 Training for our annual event to support the Toys for Tots efforts.
This year, you’ll find us at Top Golf in Farragut on December 11 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for an evening dedicated to the Toys for Tots efforts. Bring your family, friends, and a toy (or two or three) and enjoy the festivities and food.
If you can’t make the event, we have additional drop-off locations at D1 Hardin Valley, Topgolf, Rusty Wallace dealerships, Dick’s House of Sport.
There are plenty of other ways to support the organization’s efforts: donating toys, volunteering, and attending events like ours. You can also host your own events, or volunteer your business as a drop site. Check out all the ways you can pitch in here.
If you or someone you know has children who could benefit from this program, there’s still time to register! You can submit your toy request form here up until November 27. After that date, you’ll receive an e-mail telling you where you can pick up your child’s new toy.
