1. Dec. 1 is the date of The Big Give.
The Big Give is Knoxville’s 24-hour online giving campaign designed to raise money and awareness for our local non-profit community. It is an initiative of United Way of Greater Knoxville. Local agencies and the people they serve have been hit hard by the ongoing pandemic.
2. You can choose the nonprofit you want to donate to.
There are more than 100 local nonprofits included in The Big Give. Each donation made to a participating nonprofit will be disbursed via direct deposit within 24-48 hours.
3. Some local folks are even matching the gifts that are given.
