1. Take a good long walk.
Even if it’s cold and you have to bundle up, just being outside will help your outlook on life. Get moving!
2. Cook something lemony.
Lemon is sharp and bright and fresh. It just sounds like spring. Here’s a lemon tart that we can’t wait to try!
3. Clean a closet.
What?? I know, it doesn’t sound like fun, but clearing out some space and getting rid of stuff you don’t use will be an accomplishment that just makes you feel better.
4. Plan a trip.
So it might be a while before you actually go, but looking up destinations and dreaming of sun-soaked beaches or exotic locales might help chase the winter doldrums.
5. Find hope in the garden.
Already, there are blooms on the Lenten roses. Daffodils are peaking out of the earth. There are buds forming on the dogwoods. No matter what the groundhogs think, spring will be here soon!
