Walker Hayes makes his way to the Marble City this spring

We all remember the first time we heard “Fancy Like” on the radio. That classic guitar riff opens up to a song you can’t help but sway  to. And now you’ll get to sway to it in person when Walker Hayes visits Knoxville this spring.

This singer-songwriter from Mobile, Alabama, now living in Franklin, Tennessee, released his first single back in 2010, and while he’s had the fan base since then, he was thrown into the spotlight during the summer of 2021 when “Fancy Like”—from his EP album Country Stuff—rolled through TikTok. His original post on the platform was a video of him and his daughter dancing to the song on their porch, and people seemed to like it; the song went viral. It eventually landed in the top three of Billboard’s Hot 100 in July and later in spot No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs list. Let’s face it, you can’t help but love this song.

And now Hayes will be making his way east to Knoxville to bring fans and new listeners along for a fun evening of country on April 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre. More info on tickets can be found at www.tennesseetheatre.com
