Local Marinas

Let’s give it up for the Ice Age! Millions of years ago, glaciers carved out this beautiful Tennessee Valley and left behind the skid marks we call Norris, Fort Loudon, Tellico, and Watts Bar Lakes.

Boating, swimming, and all sorts of water sports are just a boat launch away. And even if you don’t have a boat, you can still enjoy the bright sunshine and tasty bites available at the dozens of marinas dotting the shorelines. Choto Marina in Farragut, Sequoyah Marina in Andersonville, and Tellico Marina in Vonore offer tasty dishes throughout the day and evening are open to the public.

Otis Redding sang about it sitting on the dock, Mark Twain wrote about dangling your feet in the water, and you can experience it in real life in another dazzling East Tennessee summer.
