Dr. Eric W. Barton has announced the sale of Villa Collina, Tennessee’s largest residence, to an undisclosed buyer for $11 million. The 40,250-square-foot Knoxville mansion is on the banks of Fort Loudoun Lake.

Owner Dr. Eric W. Barton announced the sale of Villa Collina, Tennessee’s largest residence, to an undisclosed buyer for $11 million.

Villa Collina is a 40,250-square-foot estate situated on more than eight acres near Lakeshore Park and Cherokee Country Club. With expansive views of Fort Loudoun Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains. the residence includes a lavish grand foyer, tri-level library, wine cellar, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, spa, sauna, elevator, entertainment center, and a motor court with a climate-controlled, six-car garage. It also includes adjoining guest suites and staff quarters.

Barton has hosted several fundraising events for nonprofits at Villa Collina, including the “Bees Knees NYE: A 2020 Affair” New Year’s Eve celebration benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee; the 2019 “Talk Derby to Me” benefiting East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Pain & Palliative Care.
