1. Fish Hospitality Pantries

Volunteers are needed to pre-pack food items for families during COVID-19 response.

2. Emerald Youth Foundation

On top of our normal tutors and small group leaders we will need Volunteers to help check temperatures, clean and sanitize group spaces, and escort students to their designated groups. Contact Hunter McNeely at hmcneely@emeraldyouth.org or visit www.emeraldyouth.volunteerhub.com

3. University Blood Initiative

After expressing interest, the volunteer leader / coordinator will contact you to confirm participation and provide directions for this opportunity.

4. CAC Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

Help is needed to maintain regular contact with seniors during the COVID-19 social distancing protocol. Volunteers will help seniors keep food in their homes, maintain their medication, and provide errand support as necessary.
Training is provided. Basic technical skills (use of cell phone and/or computer) required.

5. CAC Mobile Meals

Mobile Meals are delivered to over 1,000 homebound seniors, every day Monday – Friday to every zip code in Knoxville.  With the increase in client count since the COVID-19 crisis they are now serving more seniors than ever and have 70 routes daily to cover.  Deliveries take about 2 hours to complete, and pickup time is anytime between 9:45 am – 11:00 am. A short orientation is conducted before leaving for your first delivery.  Volunteer opportunities are available seasonally (summer with kids), regularly scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, monthly route, or as a substitute whenever you are available.
